DJ Greg Wilson

Wallasey-born, Manchester-based DJ, remixer and producer associated with the North-West clubbing scene since the '70s, especially the clubs Wigan Pier, Legend and the Hacienda.

His early remix work often comprised cut-and-spliced reel-to-reel tapes of disco, electro and funk classics - examples include tracks by Kool & The Gang, Yello, Raw Silk and Paul Haig.

He also contributed most of the tracks on the 1984 Streetsounds compilation, "UK Electro" and founded the remix-collection series, "Credit to the Edit" in the 2000's.
