Ruby Turner

British soul and r'n'b singer, active since the mid-'80s, as well as an actress and narrator.

As well as her own solo material, she has sessioned for Bryan Ferry, UB40 and Steve Winwood and toured extensively with Jools Holland.

She released her debut album, "Women Hold Up Half the Sky" in 1986, followed by: "The Motown Songbook" (1988), "Paradise" (1989), "The Other Side" (1991), "Responsible" (1993), "Restless Moods" (1994), "Guilty" (1996), "Call Me by My Name" (1998), "Live in Bristol" (2001), "So Amazing" (2005), "The Informer" (2008 with Jools Holland), "I'm Travelling On" (2009), "All That I Am" (2014), "Jools & Ruby" (2015) and 2020's: "Love Was Here".
