[1940 - 2015] Wilton Felder was an American saxophonist and sometime bass player an founder member of the jazz-soul band The Crusaders.
Prior to the Crusaders, he was the in-house bass player for Motown, playing on Jackson 5 hit "I Want You Back" and Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On".
As a solo artist he released his debut album, "We All Have A Star" in 1978, followed by "Inherit The Wind" (1980), "Gentle Fire" (1983), "Secrets" (1985), "Love Is A Rush" (1987), "Nocturnal Moods" (1991), "Forever, Always" (1992) and 2005's "Lets Spend Some Time".
