Joe Sample

[1939 - 2014] Joe Sample was an American pianist extraordinaire - a former member of the Crusaders, composer and side-man with some of the biggest names in Jazz, Soul and RnB, including Miles Davis, George Benson, Kenny Burrell, Lalo Schifrin, Jimmy Witherspoon, B.B. King, Steely Dan, Marcus Miller, The Supremes and many more.

As well as his Crusaders output, Joe released numerous albums as front-man, including his 1969 debut "Fancy Dance", plus "Rainbow Seeker", "Carmel", "The Song Lives On", "The Pecan Tree", "Feeling Good" and many more.
