Electro-pop rock outfit formed in the late 70s, comprised of hugely-successful producer Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes.
They released one of the most-successful singles of the 70s, "Video Killed The Radio Star" (1979), followed up by a string of modestly successful singles including "Living In The Plastic Age" and "Elstree", plus an album "The Plastic Age".
Their second album, often cited as a superior album to the debut, failed to sell and the band split in 1982.
2010 saw the duo reform for one-off live activity.
