UK pop-soul band formed by Welsh singer-songwriter Green Gartside in 1977.
They released their debut album, "Songs to Remember" in 1982, followed by the gold-selling: "Cupid & Psyche 85" (1985), plus: "Provision" (1988), "Anomie & Bonhomie" (1999), plus 2006's: "White Bread Black Beer".
During the '80s, the band had hits with "Wood Beez (Pray Like Aretha Franklin)", "Absolute", "The Word Girl" and "Oh Patti (Don't Feel Sorry For Loverboy)".
