Brian Eno

Influential UK rock and ambient producer, musician and writer who started life in Roxy Music, before leaving the band in 1973.

His solo work has veered from avant-garde rock ("Before & After Science"), blissful ambient ("Music For Airports" and "Lux"), atmospheric ("Apollo"), electronic-jazzisms ("The Drop" and "Nerve Net") and back again ("Another Day On Earth"). Much of his ambient work has been recorded with regular collaborators Daniel Lanois, Michael Brook and his brother Roger although in 2010 he released "Small Craft in a Milk Sea" with Leo Abrahams and Jon Hopkins.

Eno has produced some of the biggest bands in the world, adding his own unique signature effects throughout their output, particularly U2, Coldplay, Talking Heads, Massive Attack, Devo and James.
