Tommy Emmanuel

Acclaimed Australian guitarist, famed for his complex fingerpicking style of playing and for utilising every part of his acoustic guitar to make a sound.

Heavily influenced by the late Chet Atkins, the pair recorded a duo in 1997, which was nominated for a Grammy. In 1999, Chet presented Tommy with a 'Certified Guitar Player' award, recognising Tommy's prodigious talents.

His other work includes "Initiation", "Classical Gas" and "Little by Little". In 2012 he collaborated with Martin Taylor for the recording of the collaborative album "The Colonel and the Governor", which he followed with: "Dov'è andata la musica" (with Dodi Battaglia), "Just Passing Through" (with Ian Cooper, Ian Date), "It's Never Too Late" - all three released in 2015, plus: "Pickin'" (with David Grisman - 2017), "Accomplice One" (2018), "Heart Songs" (2019), plus 2023's: "Accomplice Two".
