Avant-garde music improviser and producer from Japan / New York.
Initially a member of art-punk outfit DNA (with Arto Lindsay and Tim Wright), she moved into the field of electronique-concrete and improvised composition, working with John Zorn, Derek Bailey and Kim Gordon (Sonic Youth).
Her later music has predominantly been created from computers, laptops and drum-machines, yet still fiercely abstract in delivery.
