Turin Brakes

South London-based acoustic guitar-pop outfit comprised of founders Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian with Rob Allum and Eddy Myer.

Their debut album, "The Optimist", was issued in 2001 and nominated for a Mercury Music Prize - it contained the familiar songs "Mind Over Money" and "Underdog".

Other albums include 20013's "Ether Song" (containing Top 5 hit "Painkiller", "5 Mile (These Are The Days)" and "Long Distance"), plus "JackInABox" (2005), "Dark on Fire" (2007), "Outbursts" (2010), "We Were Here" (2013), "Lost Property" (2016) and 2017's: "Invisible Storm".
