English rock/ new wave singer whose career began as frontman of Generation X, followed by a successful solo career in the '80s with hits such as White Wedding, Rebel Yell and Eyes Without a Face.
Albums include the debut 1982 eponymous album, plus "Rebel Yell" (1983), "Whiplash Smile" (1986), "Charmed Life" (1990), "Cyberpunk" (1993), "Devil's Playground" (2005), "Happy Holidays" (2006) and 2014's "Kings & Queens of the Underground". He issued a new EP "Roadside" in 2021.
