The Headhunters

The Headhunters are jazz/ funk fusion band, formed in the 70s with the recording of the album 'Headhunters' by Herbie Hancock. That album went on to become one of the best selling jazz/fusion records of all time. In 2010 they released "Platinum", which featured collaborations with Snoop Dogg, George Clinton, and Killah Priest, among others.

Original drummer Harvey Mason was replaced by Mike Clark on the band's second album and the band's line-up (as of 2016) features Mike, original percussionist Bill Summers plus Chris Severin - bass, Steven Gordan - keys and Donald Harrison - saxophone.
