BAFTA and CBE-awarded Scottish comedian, musician, presenter and actor, AKA "The Big Yin".
Active since the mid-'60s, his early days involved being in the folk duo, The Humblebums, only to be replaced by the late Gerry Rafferty.
In the '70s/'80s he scored a couple of hits with "DIVORCE", "No Chance" and "In The Brownies", as well as a string of comedy albums such as "Cop Yer Whack For This", "Billy and Albert" and "Get Right Intae Him".
In more recent years, he has presented various travel-shows, involving him riding an easy-rider across numerous continents.
He announced his retirement from live performances in 2018.
