Black Uhuru

Award-winning Jamaican roots-reggae group originally formed in 1972.

Mainstay Derrick "Duckie" Simpson co-founded the band with Garth Dennis and Don Carlos, later to feature Michael Rose and Sandra "Puma" Jones.

Key work, often with Sly & Robbie installed as producers, includes "Red", "Chill Out" and "Anthem".
