Multi award-winning American bluegrass-country singer and fiddle player.
Since 1990, she has accumulated many Grammys, making her one of the most-awarded female musicians.
Most of her albums are recorded with her backing band 'Union Station'. In 2007, she recorded the album 'Raising Sand' with former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant - an album which went on to scoop a Grammy for 'Album of the Year' in 2009.
