"Let us transport you to the wild-west outpost of Deadwood City, 1876, in the gold-rich Black Hills of Dakota, where we find the sharpshooting tomboy, Calamity Jane, surrounded by cowboys, townsfolk, and the famous gun fighter, Wild Bill Hickok. After the saloon owner, Henry Miller, finds the actress he's hired to entertain his hard-to-please patrons is not quite what he expected, Calamity takes on the challenge of travelling to Chicago and returning to Deadwood with the world famous and utterly glamorous actress, Adelaide Adams. However, after a backstage mix up, Calamity returns by mistake with her maid, Katie Brown, and then things begin to get really complicated!
Packed full of outstanding musical theatre songs, including Secret Love, The Deadwood Stage, Higher Than A Hawk, A Woman's Touch, and The Black Hills Of Dakota, we promise you'll be thoroughly entertained by the exceptionally talented cast of principals and, as usual, the incomparable AOS company to support them."
