Tommy Allsup
Texas-based guitarist who played for Buddy Holly on songs like 'It's So Easy', 'Heartbeat'& 'Wishing'. Back in 1959 he lost the flip of a coin with Ritchie Valens for a seat on a plane, and the rest as they say, 'is history'. It was the ill-fated Buddy Holly plane which went on to crash shortly after take-off, killing Buddy, Ritchie and the Big Bopper.
