Pete Rock

New York-based DJ, hip-hop producer and rapper AKA Soul Brother #1. Famous for his collaborations with "CL Smooth" for their work in the 90s including "Mecca and the Soul Brother", "The Main Ingredient" and "All Souled Out".

His production work is far-reaching within hip-hop, famous names include Run DMC, Jeru The Damaja, Public Enemy, Nas, Method Man and Notorious BIG.

Solo releases include his 1998 debut, "Soul Survivor", plus "PeteStrumentals" (2001), "Lost & Found: Hip Hop Underground Soul Classics" (2003), "My Own Worst Enemy (2004 with Ed O.G.), "Soul Survivor II" (2004), "The Surviving Elements: From Soul Survivor II Sessions" (2005), "NY's Finest" (2008), "Monumental (2011 with Smif-N-Wessun), "PeteStrumentals 2" (2015)., "Don't Smoke Rock" (2016, with Smoke DZA), "Retropolitan" (2019, with Skyzoo), and 2021's: "21 Grams: Worth It's Weight In Soul" (with AMXXR).
