Brian Jackson

Brian Jackson is an American keyboard-player, flautist, singer, composer and producer, best known for his work with the late Gil Scott-Heron.

Working with Gil Scott-Heron from 1974 to 1980, Brian can be heard on key songs such as "The Bottle", "Rivers of My Fathers" and "Winter in America", amongst many others.

In 2013, Brian Jackson was part of the line-up for a special project led by Kentyah, featuring M-1, Dead Prez, Chuck D, Gregory Porter, Mike Clark and more 'Furthering the Legacy of Gil Scott-Heron'.

Other collaborations include: Will Downing, Roy Ayers, Gwen Guthrie, Alabama 3 and Ali Shaheed Muhammad plus Adrian Younge.
