Benjamin Zephaniah

[1958 - 2023] Benjamin Zephaniah was a Birmingham-born dub poet, campaigner, writer and literary figure who was included in The Times 2008 list of Top 50 British post-war writers.

His vast body of works included the books "Pen Rhythm", "Talking Turkeys" and "When I Grow Up". He passed away in 2023.

He released his debut album, "Rasta" in 1982, followed by: "Us An Dem" (1990), "Back to Roots" (1995), "Belly of De Beast" (1996), "Naked" (2005), plus 2006's: "Naked & Mixed-Up".
