David Mitchell

David Mitchell is an English comedian, actor and writer, the star, along with Robert Webb, of 'Peep Show' and 'Mitchell and Webb'.

As well as comic acting, David Mitchell also writes a newspaper column and appears regularly on panel shows including Would I Lie To You, QI and Have I Got News For You. He was also the host of Channel 4's topical comedy show 10 O'Clock Live. He starred as William Shakespeare in the BBC2 historical comedy, "Upstart Crow", written by Ben Elton, later transferred to the West End stage, in which he starred.

He co-authored the 2009 book, "This Mitchell and Webb Book", and wrote the books: "Back Story: A Memoir" (autobiography), "Thinking About It Only Makes It Worse", "Dishonesty Is the Second-Best Policy: And Other Rules to Live By", and "Unruly: A History Of England's Kings And Queens".
