Peter Case

American rock then folk-roots singer-songwriter originally a founder member of The Nerves (who wrote "Hanging On The Telephone", later covered by Blondie) and The Plimsouls.

His debut self-titled album appeared in 1986 and he was nominated for a Grammy for Best Trad Folk Album with 2007's "Let Us Now Praise Sleepy John".

Other albums include "Six-Pack of Love" and "Wig!".
