Martin Taylor

British Jazz guitarist born in Harlow and who worked alongside Stephane Grappelli, Chet Atkins and Yehudi Menuhin in earlier years.

A TV advert featuring the cover of Robert Palmer's 'Johnny and Mary' gave him wider exposure, as well as his picking-style and ear for intricate melodies.

Key recordings include: 'Spirit Of Django', 'Portraits' (with Chet Atkins), 'Two's Company' and 'Kiss and Tell'. In 2012 he collaborated with Tommy Emmanuel for the recording of "The Colonel and the Governor" album.
