Balaam and the Angel are a Scottish gothic rock band formed in 1984 in Cannock, featuring Mark Morris - vocals/ bass, Jim Morris - guitar/ keyboards, Chris Williams - keys and Des Morris - drums.

They released their debut album, "Sun Family" in 1985, followed by: "The Greatest Story Ever Told" (1987), "Live Free or Die" (1988), "Days of Madness" (1989), "No More Innocence" (1991), "Prime Time" (1993), plus 2019's: "That's Not The Real World".
