The Taming of the Shrew

Comedy by William Shakespeare written in the 16th-century with themes of trickery and sub-plots, the main one of which concerns an old drunk who is tricked into thinking he is a lord and 'the shrew' (Katherina), who is the eldest and very bad-tempered daughter of another lord who tries to marry off Katherina at any cost.
