Eliza Carthy

Eliza Carthy

Folk musician and singer from Scarborough who plays the fiddle.

She is the daughter of the folk parents, Martin Carthy and Norma Waterson.

She has been nominated for the Mercury Music Prize for the albums 'Red Rice' (1998) and 'Angelicana' (2003) and has won a few BBC Folk Awards.

Carthy has worked with many other musicians and singers including Billy Bragg, Jools Holland, Patrick Wolf as well as her parent's projects.
