Lynyrd Skynyrd

US southern rock band, and Rock n Roll hall of fame act. Originally founded in the '70s by the late singer/ songwriter Ronnie Van Zant, the band currently features Rickey Medlocke, Johnny Van Zant, Michael Cartellone, Mark Matejka, Peter Keys, and Keith Christopher.

Their signature songs are "Freebird" and "Sweet Home Alabama".

They released their debut album, "(Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd)" in 1973, followed by: "Second Helping" (1974), "Nuthin' Fancy" (1975), "Gimme Back My Bullets" (1976), "Street Survivors" (1977), "Lynyrd Skynyrd 1991" (1991), "The Last Rebel" (1993), "Endangered Species" (1994), "Twenty" (1997), "Edge of Forever" (1999), "Christmas Time Again" (2000), "Vicious Cycle" (2003), "God & Guns" (2009), plus 2012's: "Last of a Dyin' Breed".
