British Radio 1 DJ from Dartford whose 'Essential Selection' slot on his BBC R1 radio-show became a national mainstay during the 90s. He founded the FFRR label, part of the Phonogram empire, releasing some of the most important club-anthems of the 80s and 90s - "Chime" by Orbital, "French Kiss" by Lil Louis, "I Thought It Was You" by Sex-O-Sonique and "Something Good" by Utah Saints.
