Ulver are a Norwegian dark electro-rock band (earlier described as black-metal), formed in 2003. The band features founder member and singer, Kristoffer Rygg, plus Tore Ylwizaker - keys and Jørn H. Sværen.
Their musical style borrows from black metal, film soundtracks and choral works. They released their debut album, "Bergtatt - Et eeventyr i 5 capitler" in 1995, followed by: "Kveldssanger" (1996), "Nattens madrigal" (1997), "Themes from William Blake's The Marriage of Heaven and Hell" (1998), "Perdition City" (2000), "Blood Inside" (2005), "Shadows of the Sun" (2007), "Wars of the Roses" (2011), "Messe I.X-VI.X" (2013), "ATGCLVLSSCAP" (2016), "The Assassination of Julius Caesar" (2017), plus 2019's: "Drone Activity".
