House and techno-rave duo from Southend.
Key members include: Nigel Champion, Mark Franklin and vocalist Saffron.
They came to prominence in 1990 as part of the acid-house and rave scene, particularly in Essex, with the double-hit single 'Anthem'.
Lead singer on 'Anthem' was Saffron, later of electro-rock band Republica.
N-joi also remixed a few other artists including the successful re-take of Annie Lennox's 'Little Bird'.
Think Black Box's 'Ride On Time', think glow-sticks, think pounding piano hook-lines and add some sirens and you have hands-to-the-lazers in a group.
