The Weir

A psychological drama written by Conor McPherson in 1997 and concerning a group of men who vie for the affections of a newcomer to their Irish village.

On its première in 1997, The Weir won the Evening Standard, Critics' Circle and Olivier Award for Best New Play, and established McPherson's place as one of our greatest living playwrights.
