Easy-listening crooner who rose to prominence in the late 1960's with "(Please) Release Me", "There Goes My Everything", "The Last Waltz", "Quando Quando Quando" and "Am I That Easy To Forget".
He has released over 50 albums during his career and curiously hit student audiences with the song "Lesbian Seagull" (from the 1996 film "Beavis and Butthead Do America").
He was chosen to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012.
