ZTT Records

Highly-influential (and as some critics were quick to point out, occasionally pretentious) electro-pop and dance label, formed in 1983 by journalist Paul Morley, producer Trevor Horn and businesswoman Jill Sinclair.

ZTT have released landmark pop-records by Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Art Of Noise, Propaganda, Seal, Andrew Poppy, 808 State and Seal.

Like Factory Records, ZTT applied its own internal cataloguing system, known as the Action and Incidental series.

The label's name has continued as a re-issue front for much of the label's original artists, as well as those produced by Trevor Horn.
