James Blake is a multi award-winning British electro-downbeat singer, producer and DJ who mixes post-blues, RnB samples, ballads and sparse electronica with minimal beats.

Key tracks include "CMYK", "Limit To Your Love" and "Air and Lack Thereof".

He released his debut eponymous album in 2011, followed by: "Overgrown" (2013), "The Colour in Anything" (2016), "Assume Form" (2019), "Friends That Break Your Heart" (2021), "Playing Robots into Heaven" (2023), plus 2026's: "Trying Times".

He was nominated for the BBC Sound of 2011, the Barclaycard Mercury Music Prize in 2011 and British Male Solo Artist at the 2012 BRIT Awards. He won the 2013 Barclaycard Mercury Music Prize for the album "Overgrown" and an Ivor Novello "Best Contemporary Song" award for the 2014 song, "Retrograde". He picked up Grammy awards for "King's Dead", and "Scientists & Engineers".
