Tina Turner

[1939 - 2023] Tina Turner was a multi award-winning, million-selling, influential soul and rock singer whose career spanned over 5 decades.

She began her career with then-husband Ike Turner in the 60s, acheiving hits such as "Nutbush City Limits", "Proud Mary" and "River Deep, Mountain High".

In the mid 70s, Tina went solo releasing her debut album, "Tina Turns the Country On!" in 1974, followed by: "Acid Queen" (1975), "Rough" (1978), and "Love Explosion" (1979). It was the '80s where she really rose to crossover prominence with the album "Private Dancer" in 1984, followed by "Break Every Rule" (1986), "Foreign Affair" (1989), "Wildest Dreams" (1996), plus 1999's: "Twenty Four Seven".

Her most familiar songs include "The Best", "What's Love Got To Do With It?", "Private Dancer", and "We Don't Need Another Hero".
