A series of comical and reflective monologues by the English playwright Alan Bennett. There are 12 episodes in the original series of works, though not all are normally performed in one sitting (check with venue).

The titles are the prologue-play "A Woman Of No Importance", followed by "A Chip In The Sugar", "A Lady Of Letters", "Bed Among The Lentils", "Soldiering On", "Her Big Chance", "A Cream Cracker Under The Stairs", "Miss Fozzard Finds Her Feet", "The Hand Of God", "Playing Sandwiches", "The Outside Dog", "Nights in the Gardens of Spain" and "Waiting For The Telegram".
