Maceo Parker

American soul and funk musician, sax-blowing member of the JBs - James Brown's horn section in the 60s - as well as a prominent member of Funkadelic and Parliament during the 70s.

In the 90s Parker went solo, appearing on De La Soul's "Buhloone Mindstate" and a few NPG (Prince) stage-shows and albums (including 2007's "Planet Earth").

He has lent his sax-playing artistry to many performer's works including George Clinton, Material, Bernie Worrell, Deee-Lite, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Bootsy Collins.
