Bastille are an award-winning English alt-pop band from London founded by composer and singer Dan Smith in 2010, initially as his own solo project, but later a band featuring Kyle Simmons - keyboards/ backing vocals/ bass, Will Farquarson - guitar/ bass/ backing vocals and Chris "Woody" Wood - drums/ percussion/ backing vocals.
After a handful of singles and EPs, Bastille released their debut album "Bad Blood" in 2012, followed by the NME award-winning, "Wild World" in 2016, "Doom Days" (2019), "Give Me the Future" (2022), plus 2024's: "&".
The band won a 2014 BRIT award in the "British Breakthrough Act" category.
