The Big Dish

Pop-rock band formed in Airdrie in 1983. Original members include Steven Lindsay - vocals and guitars, Mark Ryce - guitar, John Harper - keyboards, Brian McFie - guitars, Ian Ritchie - keyboards and saxophones, Craig Armstrong, Paul Wickens, Blair Cunningham, Gary Barnacle, Pino Palladino and Manu Katche.

Despite having no significant hits apart from "Miss America" in 1991, the band grew a modest following with the singles "Prospect Street", "Big New Beginnings", "Slide", "Eurpean Rain" and "Faith Healer", all between 1986 and 1991.
