[1964 - 2020] Lucky Peterson was an American contemporary blues musician from Buffalo who fused soul, R&B, gospel and rock and roll.
Incredibly, Peterson released his debut album in 1969 - when he was just 5 years old (with some help from his dad, James Peterson), followed a few years later with another collaboration with his father: "The Father, The Son, The Blues".
After playing with Etta James, Bobby 'Blue' Bland and Little Milton, Lucky released his debut solo album, 'Ridin'' as a teenager in 1984.
Other albums include: "Lucky Strikes!" in 1989, followed by: "Triple Play" (1991), "I'm Ready" (1993), "Beyond Cool" (1994), "Spirituals & Gospel" (1996), "Lifetime" (1996), "Move" (1998), "Lucky Peterson" (1999), "Double Dealin" (2001), "Black Midnight Sun" (2003), "If You Can't Fix It" (2004), "Lay My Demons Down" (2006), "Tête à Tête" (2007), "Organ Soul Sessions" (2009), "Darling Forever" (2009), "You Can Always Turn Around" (2010), "Heart of Pain" (2010), "Every Second a Fool is Born" (2011), "Live at the 55 Arts Club Berlin" (2012), "Whatever You Say" (2013), "Travelin' Man" (2014), "The Son of a Bluesman" (2014), "I'm Back Again" (2014), "July 28, 2014" (2015), "Long Nights" (2016), "Tribute to Jimmy Smith" (2017), "What Have I Done Wrong" (2017), plus 2019's: "50 - Just Warming Up!".
