Albert Hammond

British pop singer and songwriter whose career was most prominent from the '60s to the late '80s. Father of The Strokes Albert Hammond Jr and a member of The Family Dogg.

His key releases include the song "It Never Rains in Southern California" (recorded by Hammond himself) as well as big hits for other artists such as "To All The Girls I've Loved Before" (Julio Iglesias), "One Moment In Time" (Whitney Houston) and "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" (Starship). Recent successes include working with Welsh singer Duffy on her album "Endlessly" in 2010.
