Leytonstone-born tabla-playing classical and drum n bass musician.
He has worked with a wide range of bands and artists - Siousxie and the Banshees, Bjork, David Sylvian and Massive Attack - as well as starting the Anokha club night (at the Blue Note).
Key releases include "Drum + Space" in 1996 (as Calcutta Cyber Cafe), the Singh-curated 'Anokha - Soundz of the Asian Underground' (1997), and solo albums: "OK" (1998), "Ha" (2001), plus 2008's: "Sweet Box". The John Martyn collaboration "Sunshine's Better", was a Cafe Del Mar hit.
