"A true comic masterpiece, this brilliant classical farce is set in Louis XIV's Paris. The story tells of the avaricious Harpagon, whose obsessive greed threatens the happiness of his children, the wellbeing of his servants and the lives of his neighbours."

For the 2017 West End run, actor, writer, presenter, comedian and two-time Olivier award-winner Griff Rhys Jones returns to the West End as Harpagon, plus Lee Mack and Matthew Horne in a new adaptation by Sean Foley and Phil Porter.
