Kendrick Lamar is a multi award-winning American rapper and songwriter, who is a member of hip hop collective Black Hippy and has worked with Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Game, Busta Rhymes and many other leading hip hop artists.
Lamar's debut solo album was 2011's "Section.80" which reached No 1 on the US Heatseekers chart, followed by "good kid, m.A.A.d city" (2012), the 2016 "Best Rap Album" Grammy-winning, "To Pimp a Butterfly", the Pulitzer prize-winning album, "Damn" (2017), plus 2022's: "Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers" (winner of the 2023 Grammy for "Best rap album").
