Carrie Underwood is an American country singer and songwriter from Oklahoma who found fame as the winner of the fourth series of the hit TV show American Idol (in 2005).
Underwood's debut album was 2005's 'Some Hearts', a US Country chart No 1 record, selling more than 7 million copies. That was followed by the multi-platinum-selling, "Carnival Ride" (2007), "Play On" (2009), "Blown Away" (2012), "Storyteller" (2015), "Cry Pretty" (2018), "My Gift" (2020), "My Savior" (2021), plus 2022's: "Denim & Rhinestones".
