American R&B and soul singer-songwriter originally from North Carolina.
Richardson released his solo debut album, Country Boy, in 1999, having previously been the lead singer of the R&B group Undacova.
His breakthrough came with the 2003 follow-up, '2:35 PM', which peaked at No 8 on the US R&B countdown.
