English comedian and actor from Yorkshire who found fame in the late 80s with his hit TV comedy partnership with Norman Pace, as Hale and Pace.

The duo made their 'straight' acting debuts in the original TV version of Dalziel and Pascoe. Gareth Hale has, like his friend Norman Pace, has also moved into a number of notable television and stage roles including an acclaimed turned as Scrooge in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
