English punk outfit formed in 1994 by former Gallon Drunk drummer Max Décharné who became The Flaming Stars' lead vocalist, along with guitarists Huck Whitney and Mark Hosking, bassist Paul Dempsey and drummer Joe Whitney.
Their debut EP, Hospital, Heaven or Hell, released in 1995, gained attention across Europe thanks to radio exposure from John Peel.
The band's debut album, Songs From the Bar Room Floor, followed in 1996.
