American pop-rock band formed in 1994 in San Francisco, and fronted by lead vocalist Patrick Monahan.
They hit mainstream success with the hit 'Drops Of Jupiter' in 2001, which also won a Grammy or two.
In 2009, they hit big again with the song 'Hey, Soul Sister' and subsequent album 'Save Me San Francisco'. They released their debut album, "Train" in 1998, followed by: "Drops of Jupiter" (2001), "My Private Nation" (2003), "For Me, It's You" (2006), "Save Me, San Francisco" (2009), "California 37" (2012), "Bulletproof Picasso" (2014), "Christmas in Tahoe" (2015), "Train Does Led Zeppelin II" (2016), "A Girl, a Bottle, a Boat" (2017), plus 2022's: "AM Gold".
