​During the early 1960s the Montague family immigrated to the UK from India, seeking a better quality of life. Little did they know the tumult that would arise in a period of mass immigration, fear and racial tensions, fuelled by such governmental figures as Enoch Powell.

​The feud that is the heart of this story stemmed from this early period, and has reached new heights as the years have passed.
